common indian errors in English language


i request everyone to share instances when they felt that the speaker might have translated sthg from hindi/punjabi or any other local language to english which resulted in some error

here is one to start with:
HINDI: inse miliye yeh hain Shri Ved Chand. Aap ne is sanstha ke liye......

ENGLISH: meet Mr. Ved Chand. THEY have done ...... for this institution.


NOTE
1. the AAP in hindi does not translate into they in english.
2. the order of phrases or clauses is different in hindi and english.
